Financial Peace

A few weeks back, DJ and I started going to a class at our church. It’s called Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. Now for those of you who have listened to his radio show, gone through his classes, or even just heard about him, you already know I can just stop talking here. If you are ever given the opportunity to take his classes or listen to his talk show, DO IT! This class has been an amazing help, eye opener and motivation in getting us to a financial peace in our lives. We still have a way to go, but the effects it’s already had, we know are life changing. In fact, because of this class, we have decided to not use credit of any kind for our wedding. Our plan is to figure out a budget and stick to it, no matter what. We both feel very strongly that if we can start our marriage without going into debt over it, we’ll have a huge advantage. So please keep us in your prayers, because we all know, this isn’t easy. However, we have the best financial consultant in the universe, GOD.

Today starts a new beginning! Because today is when DJ asked me to be his wife! As I’m sure you can all guess, I’M VERY EXCITED! DJ is a wonderful blessing in my life and I’m so honored that he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. And I must give thanks to our heavenly Father for bringing us together! Thanks Daddy!
